Nutralite, the largest table spread brand with a pan-India presence, expanded its portfolio of healthy yet yummy spreads with the launch of two new flavours - Garlic & Oregano and Pudina & Coriander.
The two variants were launched in Mumbai by chef and Nutralite brand ambassador Sanjeev Kapoor.
The flavours have been developed using natural herbs and spices, and will be available in 100g cartons and 200g tubs priced at Rs 42 and Rs 85, respectively.
The launch comes after an extensive consumer research conducted to gain key insights on the consumption and food patterns of consumers. It was found that consumers are increasingly developing a strong taste for different flavours to add to their palates while wanting to retain a healthy diet.
While Nutralite has successfully captured the health space with the zero-cholesterol proposition, and continues to be a preferred choice of many, the addition of different flavours will help the brand to tap the consumer need of variety in taste.
Along with the portfolio expansion, Nutralite has revamped the packaging of the complete range to make it look more contemporary and premium. The launch will be supported by a 360-degree campaign, which includes a new television commercial featuring Kapoor, as well as print and digital campaigns.
The chef said, “Nutralite understands the need of healthy and tasty food, hence it launched two new flavours. These flavours have been developed using natural herbs and spices and can be used to make a variety of tasty dishes without worrying about the repercussions on health.”
Talking about the launch, Tarun Arora, director and chief operating officer, Zydus Wellness, said, “Nutralite has, over the years, stood for health by offering zero per cent cholesterol benefit added with Omega-3.” “With the changing consumer lifestyles and wants, we have co-created with them two exciting new flavours. One of them conforms to the traditional Indian tastes of pudina and coriander and the other is inspired by the adopted flavour of modern India, garlic and oregano,” he added. “These new flavours from Nutralite aim to tackle not just health by offering zero cholesterol, but also provide consumers with an enhanced taste and an enriching experience for their taste buds,” Arora said.
Pointing at the rapid urbanisation, he added, “With the busy lifestyles and increasing disposable incomes, Nutralite flavoured table spreads will come handy to women in urban India who are time- crunched and look for quick solutions to make their daily meals more interesting.”
“We want to make Nutralite the preferred choice of today’s smart home-maker, who is proactive, creative and experimental and works towards developing her skills to minimise the daily struggles of cooking a variety of dishes while keeping them healthy,” Arora said.
