In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the flavoured milk segment, Parle Agro has announced the launch of Smoodh Kesar Badam, the latest addition to its flagship dairy beverage brand Smoodh. The new variant blends the richness of almonds with the warmth of saffron, offering consumers a classic Indian flavour in a contemporary, ready-to-drink format.

With Kesar Badam being a culturally rooted and widely loved flavour across India, the launch aims to tap into strong consumer nostalgia while catering to evolving taste preferences. Smoodh Kesar Badam combines creamy milk with the goodness of almonds and saffron to deliver a premium indulgent experience. The product is priced at Rs 10 for 80 ml and Rs 20 for 150 ml, making it both affordable and accessible for everyday consumption.

Commenting on the launch, Nadia Chauhan, Joint Managing Director and CMO, Parle Agro, said that since its inception, Smoodh has redefined the dairy beverage category by making indulgent dairy-based drinks more accessible. She noted that Kesar Badam’s strong cultural relevance and wide appeal made it a natural extension of the portfolio, adding that the new variant reflects the company’s commitment to aligning with evolving consumer preferences while staying rooted in flavours India connects with.

Smoodh Kesar Badam will be available across urban and rural markets through general trade, modern retail outlets, and emerging digital and quick commerce platforms. The launch is being supported by an integrated marketing campaign spanning OOH, digital media, social platforms, influencer collaborations, and in-store visibility initiatives.

With this addition, Parle Agro continues to expand its Smoodh portfolio, which already includes Chocolate, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Toffee Caramel variants, further consolidating its footprint in India’s growing dairy beverage market.
