Rebellyous Foods launches plant-based chicken patty
Saturday, 25 January, 2025, 08 : 00 AM [IST]
Seattle, USA
Rebellyous Foods, the innovative plant-based meat production technology company announced the launch of its plant-based chicken patty at Great State Burger, a Pacific Northwest restaurant chain known for its fantastic burgers, rich milkshakes, and fast service for 21st-century customers.

The plant-based chicken burger officially hit the menu this winter, winning over customers and quickly becoming a local favourite. This juicy addition features its signature plant-based chicken patty, topped with American cheese, organic lettuce, pickles, and State Sauce.

Nathan Yeager, co-owner of Great State Burgers, said, "We're excited to introduce a plant-based Chicken Burger that's delicious and accessible to all, aligning with our commitment to provide high-quality, sustainable food options. The response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive."

The company has become a transformative force in the plant-based foods industry, gaining significant traction across diverse sectors, including restaurants, K-12 schools, colleges, event venues, hospitals, hospitality groups, and more. Their products can now be found on menus at over 400 locations nationwide across these industries.

Christie Lagally, founder and CEO of Rebellyous Foods, said, "As more customers choose plant-based diets for reasons ranging from health to sustainability to choice, food service providers are working hard to meet this growing demand. A recent study even showed a preference for plant-based chicken nuggets over traditional meat nuggets, underscoring how consumers prioritise taste. Over the past several years, we've expanded distribution and deployed our novel production technology, positioning our plant-based chicken products to rival conventional meat in quality, consistency, taste, and price."
