Ripple Foods launches organic plant-based milk with 5g protein to shake up dairy alternatives market
Friday, 16 January, 2026, 14 : 00 PM [IST]
California, USA
Ripple Foods, a leading innovator in plant-based nutrition, has unveiled Ripple Organic Plant-Based Milk, a new organic dairy-free beverage that delivers 5 grams of plant-based protein per serving while maintaining a clean, simple ingredient profile. The product line includes Original and Vanilla flavours and is designed to offer both nutrition and taste without common allergens.

As consumer demand for organic, nutrient-rich non-dairy alternatives continues to climb, Ripple Organic aims to bridge the gap between health benefits and sensory experience. With up to 2.5 times more protein than traditional almond milk and free from the top nine allergens, the new product promises broader appeal for families and individuals seeking better-for-you options in the burgeoning plant-based milk category.

A key differentiator for Ripple Organic is its short, clean ingredient list consisting of five ingredients or fewer. The milk contains organic pea protein, and is free of gums, oils and artificial additives — a response to consumers increasingly scrutinising labels for simplicity and quality. Its smooth, creamy texture makes it suitable for a range of everyday uses, from cereal and smoothies to drinking straight from the glass.

Becky O’Grady, CEO of Ripple Foods, said the product was developed after hearing consumer feedback about limitations in existing organic milk alternatives — especially in taste, protein content and recognisable ingredients. “Ripple Organic was created to give families an organic option that finally delivers on everything they care about: clean ingredients, great taste, and real, satisfying protein,” she said.

The new plant-based milk is vegan, nut-free, dairy-free, soy-free, lactose-free and gluten-free, making it a versatile choice for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. Ripple Organic will begin rolling out to major retailers in January 2026, including Target, Hy-Vee, Wakefern, ShopRite and Harris Teeter, with additional outlets to follow.
