Roastery Coffee House opens first outlet in Bengaluru

Roastery Coffee House has opened its 17th Coffee House and first outlet in Bengaluru at Banashankari II Stage, marking the speciality coffee brand’s entry into Karnataka.
Founded in Hyderabad in 2017, it sources nearly 99 per cent of its coffee from Karnataka, particularly the Chikmagalur region. The Bengaluru opening brings the brand closer to the coffee-growing region that has played a key role in its sourcing and coffee programme.
“Roastery was born in Hyderabad, but the coffee that built Roastery was born in Karnataka. For years, coffee from Chikmagalur has travelled to our roastery and then to our Coffee Houses across India. Now, for the first time, we are serving that coffee through a Roastery Coffee House in Karnataka itself. So, Bengaluru doesn’t feel like entering another market for us. It feels like our coffee coming home,” said Nishant Sinha, founder & CEO, Roastery Coffee House.
The company currently sources approximately 100 tonnes of green coffee annually, with nearly 99 per cent coming from Chikmagalur. It works directly with more than 15 coffee estates and farmers and focuses on speciality-grade coffees, including experimental processes and micro-lots.
Spread across approximately 4,000 sq ft and offering seating for around 80 guests, the Bengaluru outlet features contemporary interiors with elements inspired by Indian arches and traditional design vocabulary. Soft pastel colours, along with Kalamkari-inspired artwork and upholstery, add an Indian craft influence to the space.
The coffee menu includes its signature Cranberry Coffee, Brownie Blend Cold Coffee, cappuccinos and manual brews featuring speciality-grade Indian coffees. The manual brewing programme allows customers to explore different Indian beans and flavour profiles.
The coffee offering is complemented by an all-day food menu featuring sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, pastas and other café favourites. It plans to expand its presence in Bengaluru, with the company looking to explore around five to seven Coffee Houses across the city over the next one to two years, subject to suitable locations and spaces. The Bengaluru outlet is located at No. 510, 9th Main Road, Banashankari II Stage, Bengaluru. It is open from 8am to 11pm and is family- and pet-friendly.
