Runnr launches Runnr Meals to understand corporates’ ordering patterns

fiogf49gjkf0d Runnr, the food delivery start-up has launched Runnr Meals for corporates. The platform is designed to understand the ordering patterns and preferences of corporates or users and curates its meal options accordingly, enabling personalisation for users.
For this programme, Runnr teamed up with a number of nutritionists to design lunch-specific meals. It delivers specially curated meals from hand-picked restaurants to employees of participating corporates during lunch hours.
The product is aimed at making the lunch ordering process easier for employees during office hours. It allows users to pre-order the meal box they would like. The ordering time is flexible for customers and the delivery time is between 1pm and 1:30pm.
One does not need to order every day, and for all orders placed before 12:30pm, the meal boxes are free of any delivery charges.
Speaking on the need for such a product, Mohit Kumar, co-founder and chief executive officer, Runnr, said, “We, at Runnr, understand that ordering lunch every day in office can be a cumbersome task. In an attempt to provide employees a full-course meal while making their ordering decision simpler, we have launched Runnr Meals.”
“This feature allows employees to enjoy exclusively curated meals in different types of cuisines, which helps restaurants sell more dishes. All in all, Runnr Meals has proven to be a profitable business model for everybody involved,” he added.
The main features of the programme are curated meals from popular restaurants; a variety of cuisines to choose from; meals starting as low as Rs 70; three-click Web ordering flow; no cash payments; fast and convenient delivery, excellent packaging and exclusive offers and coupons for corporates.
Ajinkya Malasane, co-founder and head of business development, Playment, said, “At Playment, we want our employees to have a very satisfactory lunch, and we tried multiple partners initially. Runner Meals turned out to be a hassle-free option.”
“Novelty in the menu is the real need when it comes to routine catering and Runnr has tied up with restaurants delivering diverse cuisines. The best part is every employee can order within seconds for his own taste and the food is delivered right before lunch time,” he added.
Runnr is currently live in Bengaluru and Mumbai. There is no minimum order size, and the app offers live tracking of delivery.
