Evocus, India’s premium functional beverage brand, has announced the appointment of Clavell Santiago as Vice President – Sales HoReCa and Marketing, marking a key leadership move as the company accelerates its growth across domestic and international markets.
In his expanded role, Santiago will spearhead Evocus’s commercial and marketing strategy, overseeing sales, brand building, HoReCa expansion, and growth channels. He will be responsible for driving revenue momentum, strengthening partnerships, and scaling the brand’s presence across premium hospitality and foodservice platforms.
Santiago has been closely associated with Evocus’s growth journey and most recently served as Head of Sales – HoReCa, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the brand within the hospitality segment. Under his leadership, Evocus successfully entered the HoReCa space, launched the world’s first Black Soda, and introduced several trade-focused product innovations. The brand expanded its HoReCa footprint to over 1,000 outlets nationwide, becoming a preferred beverage partner for leading hospitality groups such as Oberoi, Marriott, and Taj, along with prominent restaurants and café chains across India.
With over 12 years of experience across FMCG and hospitality, Santiago brings deep expertise in B2B sales, revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and premium brand development. Prior to joining Evocus, he held leadership roles with organisations including Narang Group, Coffee Day Beverages, MARS Group, IHG, and InterContinental Hotels Group, gaining extensive exposure to both domestic and international markets.
Commenting on the appointment, Aakash Vaghela, Founder and Managing Director of Evocus, said that as the company strengthens its presence across markets, Clavell’s ability to build high-value partnerships and elevate premium brand experiences will be critical to Evocus’s next phase of growth.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Clavell Santiago said he looks forward to sharpening the brand’s marketing narrative, deepening engagement across key channels, and building meaningful differentiation to drive sustainable growth.
With this leadership transition, Evocus aims to further accelerate its HoReCa expansion and reinforce its position as a leading premium functional beverage brand.
