Scott Technology has secured its largest-ever appliance automation contract in China. Mike Christman, CEO, Scott Technology, said, “The appliance sector plays a key role in Scott’s global growth strategy and demonstrates our ability to deliver advanced automation solutions that meet the evolving needs of world-leading customers. This achievement reflects the outstanding capabilities of our China team - their commitment to excellence and innovation drives our success in this important market.”

Scott’s appliance business unit, led out of China and supported by Christchurch, specialises in designing and manufacturing automation systems tailored to the needs of leading global appliance manufacturers. These systems span a variety of applications, including production lines for cooking systems, laundry equipment, and refrigeration units.

Cathy Zhang, regional director China, Scott Technology, said, “The whiteware market in China is evolving rapidly, driven by growing consumer demand for high-quality, energy-efficient appliances. To meet these expectations, manufacturers globally are prioritising advanced automation to enhance efficiency and sustainability in production. This partnership demonstrates Scott Technology’s ability to stay ahead of these trends, delivering innovative solutions that align with the future of appliance manufacturing.”
