Sula to host 2019 essay of WSET Level 1 Awards in Wines on February 17

The 2019 WSET Level 1 Awards in Wines, a certification by the world’s leading authority on wine spirits, will be organised at Sula Vineyards’ head office in Andheri (East), Mumbai, on February 17, March 2 and March 30 by the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust (WSET), the world’s leading provider of wine education, which offers both introductory diploma-level courses as well as in-depth training on tasting theory and knowledge about wines and spirits.
Sula Vineyards will offer them an opportunity to obtain WSET Level 1 Awards in Wines, at a competitive price with no compromise on quality. The one-day course - which is named WSET Level 1 diploma and priced at Rs 8,844 (Rs 7495 plus 18 per cent Goods and Services Tax [GST]) - will take place between 9am and 7pm on February 17. The examination will be conducted the same day. No qualifications are needed to enroll for the same.
Attendees will understand the main types and styles of wine; learn the characteristics of the principal grape varieties; know how to serve and store wine; understand the basic principles of food and wine pairing, and learn the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting, besides getting an opportunity to appreciate 6-8 wines and learn practical food and wine pairing. The objective of this initiative is to spread awareness about wines among wine connoisseurs, students and consumers.
