This Halloween, Supa San, Bandra and Nami Bombay unveil a world of dark fantasies, surreal visions and unexpected encounters with The Surrealist Ball, an immersive nightlife experience inspired by the legendary 1972 Rothschild Surrealist Ball. Bringing together striking visual elements, theatrical aesthetics and an after-dark atmosphere, the event promises a night that celebrates the eerie, the extravagant and the unconventional.
Drawing inspiration from the original Rothschild ball, known for its theatrical approach to dress and surrealist expression, the experience encourages guests to embrace the extraordinary. With an invitation to come dressed to impress, The Surrealist Ball places self-expression at the heart of the evening, encouraging guests to interpret the theme through distinctive looks and imaginative styling.
Located on the 14th floor of Mansionz One on Linking Road, Supa San brings a distinctive music-led identity to Bandra’s nightlife scene. Rooted in the social spirit of the Japanese izakaya, the space draws inspiration from listening bars, vinyl cafés and Japanese music culture, with sound, design and programming woven into the experience. Its approach to nightlife moves beyond the conventional, creating a setting where music and community shape the atmosphere.
For the occasion, the experience unfolds across two rooms with two distinct sounds, allowing guests to move between different musical moods through the night. The lineup features Another Adi, Anisha and Tansane, alongside Dreamstates and a B2B set by Zokhuma, bringing together a varied selection of sounds for the Halloween celebration.
With its combination of music, theatrical expression and an immersive setting, The Surrealist Ball sets the stage for a Halloween night that embraces the unusual and the unexpected. Bringing together Supa San, Bandra and Nami Bombay, the event invites Mumbai’s nightlife community to step beyond the ordinary and experience Halloween through a surrealist lens. The Surrealist Ball sets the stage for a Halloween celebration that brings together music, visual imagination and immersive nightlife.
