The Ozen Collection is set to welcome family-owned Champagne house Champagne Guy Charbaut for its annual Champagne celebration from October 19 to 25, 2026, bringing together rare vintages, Champagne-paired gastronomy and luxury island experiences across its Maldivian resorts.
The six-year partnership between the two houses, which began in 2021, will feature a week-long programme at Ozen Life Maadhoo and Ozen Reserve Bolifushi. Founded in 1936 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, a UNESCO-listed village in Champagne, Champagne Guy Charbaut has built its reputation around terroir-driven wines and traditional craftsmanship.
The programme will begin on October 19, with The Benthic Bubble Soirée at M6m, the resort's underwater restaurant, featuring a Champagne-paired dinner six metres beneath the lagoon. On October 20, the Champagne & Spice dinner at Tradition Indoceylon will pair Franco-Indian cuisine with selected Champagnes, while the Maadhoo programme will conclude on October 21, with Brunch Royale at The Palms, featuring a sabrage demonstration and Champagne brunch.
The celebration will move to Ozen Reserve Bolifushi from October 23, beginning with a World Champagne Day over-water dining experience at ORIGIN? featuring rare vintages from the Guy Charbaut cellar. The Champagne & Spice dinner will return at Saffron on October 24, followed by The Sabrage Sundowner at Ozar on October 25, combining Champagne tastings, live entertainment and a sunset poolside celebration.
Nicolas Laguette, director of wines at Atmosphere Core, said, “The partnership reflects a shared focus on authenticity, heritage and hospitality. This year's programme will include rare vintage tastings, underwater-aged Champagne, masterclasses and culinary experiences designed to highlight the character of individual cuvées.”
