The Westin Pushkar Resort appoints Sharma as GM

The Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa has appointed Rajat Sharma as its new general manager, bringing more than two decades of experience across luxury hospitality, hotel operations, sales and marketing, business development and strategic alliances. Before joining The Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa, Sharma served as general manager at Lebua Udaipur and executive assistant manager at The Leela Bhartiya City.
In his new role, Sharma will oversee the resort’s overall operations and strategic direction, with a focus on guest engagement, commercial strategy, business growth and team leadership. “I am delighted to join The Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa and look forward to this new chapter in my hospitality journey. Pushkar is a destination with a distinctive character and immense potential, and I am excited to work alongside the team to build meaningful guest experiences while driving the resort’s business objectives,” said Sharma.
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHMCTAN), Mumbai, Sharma holds a Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel Administration. He is known for his people-centric approach, with an emphasis on building relationships with guests and partners and creating personalised experiences.
In his new position, Sharma will leverage his experience across operations and commercial functions to support the resort’s business objectives while strengthening guest experiences and team engagement.
