The Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) will host its flagship annual event, THSC Connect 2026 – The Power of Partnerships, on August 20, 2026, at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event will convene senior policymakers, industry leaders, CSR partners, academia, training providers and key stakeholders from the skilling ecosystem to deliberate on the future of workforce development in India's rapidly expanding Tourism & Hospitality sector.
THSC Connect 2026 will serve as a premier platform to foster stronger collaborations between Government, industry, academia and ecosystem partners, with a shared objective of creating an industry-ready workforce and expanding employment opportunities for the nation's youth.
The day-long programme will feature keynote addresses by distinguished dignitaries, insightful panel discussions, presentations on THSC's flagship initiatives, CSR-led skilling models, government programmes, Centres of Excellence, rehabilitation initiatives, and best practices in industry engagement. The event will also witness the presentation of the THSC Skill Champions Awards, recognising organisations and individuals for their exceptional contribution to skill development and workforce transformation.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders from across the tourism and hospitality ecosystem, exchange ideas, explore partnerships and discuss innovative approaches to address emerging workforce requirements.
Rajan Bahadur, CEO, Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council, said, "India's Tourism & Hospitality sector is witnessing unprecedented growth, creating significant opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. However, meeting the sector's evolving workforce requirements demands strong and sustained collaboration between Government, industry, academia and training institutions. THSC Connect 2026 reflects this spirit of partnership. By bringing together the entire skilling ecosystem on one platform, we aim to strengthen industry-led skilling, promote innovation, and create meaningful employment opportunities for millions of young Indians. Together, we can build a future-ready workforce that supports India's vision of becoming a global tourism powerhouse."
