Mumbai’s upmarket neighbourhood of Juhu will now witness the opening of a new bar, Vice - Global Tapas Bar. It will boast of artisanal cocktails whose flavours are inspired by the ancient cultures of the nation, including honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and passion fruit. These will be paired with unique spirits.

Vice will serve an extensive selection of premium wines, spirits and cocktails, such as Vice Paloma, Richmond Park, La Bella, Britain's Cup, Infatuation, Cuban Crush, Horchata, Frooti and Nutty, Bloody Fizz, Spritz Me, Back Porch Bourbon, Mafia, Am I Clear, Smoked Mary, So Tipsy, Long Island Menu and Infused Gin.

These will be carefully curated by the mixologist, who will bring over his years of experience in luxury drinking and dining to the bar, which has a seating capacity of 120 and room for upto 600 floating guests. Fusing tradition and innovation, its exclusive new cocktail menu has been designed keeping every guest and every sip in mind.

Patrons can either savour inimitable classics in casual opulence, or opt for the unknown with a selection of contemporary drinks exclusive, using choice spirits, homemade ingredients and a dash of imagination.

From mocktails for those wishing to abstain in style to the truly indulgent collection of dessert cocktails, Vice has something for everyone to enjoy against a backdrop of intimate chic.

They have one of the most renowned chefs of the country, Rakesh Talwar. An acclaimed chef and restaurateur, he has 33 years of his culinary experience and his passion for food, reflected in the dishes served on the menu. He does not particularly following a designated cuisine, and has the right taste of the locals all around the globe, but sticks to his roots, while adding his own cultural touch to it.

The bar’s partners Kaushal Shah and Gaurav Chowksi say, “We are excited for the opportunity to add something new, unique and original. It is our goal to provide an experience that not only speaks to the residents of Juhu, but displays the national cultural history in a one-of-a-kind way.”

“We wish to build upon the mystique and allure of our great city’s nightlife through regionally-inspired dishes, exotic cocktails and patio lounging, while also helping one and all in keeping a checklist of their vices,” he added.

They have an 86-ft long island bar open on all sides, where bottles of fine whiskey, wine and more are lavishly displayed around the bar structure.
