Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited, the 3rd largest spirits company in India, adds unique flavours to its premium Zoya Gin: Watermelon Gin and Espresso Coffee Gin. Building on the success of its special batch gin, these new Flavors promise to elevate every celebration, embodying the brand's essence of living, loving, and rejoicing.
Watermelon Gin captures the essence of a warm day and the joy of sipping a refreshing drink under the bright sun. On the other hand, Espresso Coffee Gin captures the robust, deep-roasted essence of a traditional espresso shot, delivering a rich, aromatic experience.
The Indian gin market has witnessed noteworthy upswing in recent years. Numerous gin brands are actively contributing to this dynamic landscape, driving innovation in flavour profiles, expanding consumer palates, and enhancing accessibility to premium spirits.
The special batch gin has garnered recognition by winning 4 awards. ‘Campaign Innovator of the Year’ at Icons of Gin India 2024, ‘New Product of the Year’ at Indspirit Awards 2024, Grand Gold at India Wines and Spirits 2024 for the ‘Best Indian Contemporary Style Gin’, Grand Gold at Spiritz Selection in the Gin category.
Alok Gupta, managing director at ABD, said, “As innovators in the alcobev industry, we wanted Zoya to set a new benchmark, and our Watermelon flavour does just that. It’s inspired by the classic summer favourite in Indian households, delivering a refreshing and vibrant twist to gin. Meanwhile, the Espresso flavour reimagines the everyday coffee experience, bringing sophistication to every sip. These flavours aren’t just about taste—they reflect our commitment to redefining premium spirits while strategically enhancing our luxury portfolio and driving growth.”
Bikram Basu, chief innovation and strategy officer at ABD, said, “Zoya Special Batch Gin has seen some excellent response in its markets of launch. Consumer engagement with flavours in white spirits are high and we are sure that we have landed two very different, but equally great blends, from all the feedback that we have.”
