ITC in partnership with Keventer to set up noodle manufacturing facility

fiogf49gjkf0d ITC, in partnership with Keventer, has set up its manufacturing facility for Sunfeast Yippie Noodles in Kolkata.
The manufacturing unit has been set up with a proposed Rs 50 crore plant with a capacity to manufacture 50 tonnes of instant noodles would be second such plant for noodles in the country with around 300 people employed at the facility.
The technology for the plant is sourced from Japan and Taiwan and is capable of packing 450 packets per minute.
According to a release the facility would be spread over 65,000 sq ft at the state-of-art plant at that Keventer has at Barasat in West Bengal and that it would be comprised of the latest machinery imported from Japan and Taiwan.
ITC has been in the forefront of foods for over a decade and with popular staples, ready-to-eat and ready-to cook offerings that have been lapped up by the Indian consumers. The latest foray is into the noodle category with their brand Yippie, it stated and that they have found a like-minded ally joining hands for the manufacturing facility for Yippie.
