Barbeque Nation’s Global Cuisine Indian Style fest in Delhi from Aug 1

fiogf49gjkf0d Barbeque Nation, a casual dining restaurant chain, would host the first essay of the Global Cuisine Indian Style food festival at its nine Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) outlets between August 1 and 17, 2014.
The outlets are located in Connaught Place, Jangpura, Saket, Vasant Kunj, Pitampura, Janakpuri, Vivek Vihar, Noida and Gurgaon. The festival will provide a fusion of eastern and western delicacies with a desi twist. Lunch or dinner for two is priced at Rs 1,600.
The festival celebrates the global Indian on the occasion of Independence Day by bringing together a fusion of global cuisine with Indian flavours and taste.
“Barbeque Nation’s chefs have delved into their global experiences gained from working in many countries and cuisines to serve up the world’s favourite dishes with an Indian interpretation. The effort was to celebrate the global Indian,” said Uday Menon, chief executive officer, Barbeque Nation.
Signature dishes include Mexican Baked Potato Curry and Mushroom and Pasta in Spicy Makhni Gravy. Desserts include Red and White Kheer, Rasgulla Litchi Cake, Masala Spice Brownie and Kappi Pie.
Vijay Anand Bakshi, head, culinary operations, Barbeque Nation, said, “The special food festival menu does just that – offers the best of both worlds to customers by offering never-heard-before delectable dishes.”
Barbeque Nation is a pioneer in India to promote do-it-yourself (DIY) cuisine with a concept of live on-the-table grill in India, and is today the largest casual dining brand in the country.
The restaurant offers a pre-fixed menu, which has a fixed price and is drawn from the Mediterranean, America, the Orient, Asia and the Indian sub-continent.
