Vitafoods Asia is back in person in Bangkok and online as well. This year the trade fair is co-located with Fi Asia. The event takes place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. The trade fair takes place from October 5 to 7, 2022, in Bangkok, Thailand and from September 26 to October 10, 2022 – Online.
Vitafoods Asia first launched in 2011 in Hong Kong and this year is the10th edition of the show. The ambition back then was to help drive the nutrition industry forward by sharing the latest in science and innovation, ultimately supporting the health of consumers both regionally and around the globe. Today, Vitafoods Asia is the only nutraceutical event in Asia to offer insights into the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished products. This year’s co-location with Fi Asia, will attract over 500 international suppliers and 21,000 business leaders from across the nutraceutical and food and beverage industries – all of whom come together to collaborate, network, and share knowledge for future business success.
Vitafoods Asia covers a whole range of themes from across the nutrition supply chain – from sustainability to the health areas that matter most to consumers.
Julien Bonvallet, group brand director, Informa Markets, the orgnisers of the show, said, “This year is the first time Vitafoods Asia will be held in person after Covid-19, so visitors can expect to see an in-depth exploration of the key themes and trends that are emerging in the industry as a result. For example, lockdowns put a spotlight on mental health across the Asia-Pacific region, and as a result consumers are prioritising both physical and mental health more equally than ever before. The agenda at Vitafoods Asia will dive into how the nutraceutical industry is best positioned to support consumers in this quest, sharing insights into the market opportunities, the formats that are most in-demand, and the latest scientific research into which ingredients are most effective for supporting mental health.”
Return of Favourites This year’s show sees the return of many long-time favourites, including the New Products Zone, where visitors can learn about the industry’s most cutting-edge innovations and market successes in ingredients, raw materials, and finished products. It will also see the return of Themed Resource Centres, exploring Probiotics and Omega 3s, where visitors can deep dive into these trending ingredients and meet businesses that can provide solutions to help them best respond to consumer needs. And of course, the show will feature the ever-popular Main Stage, where experts shed light on the nutrition industry’s hottest topics – including market data, holistic health, sustainability marketing strategies, and diversity and inclusion in the nutraceutical workforce.
“Also new for this year is our innovative hybrid format – combining an online platform with the in person event in Bangkok – which offers an even larger platform for brands, growers and manufacturers to expand their horizons and connections. The online platform is available in advance of the in person event, so not only can visitors explore exclusive content and find potential new partners using our data-driven matchmaking tool, they can also plan their in person visit and set up meetings in advance, maximising their experience at the show,” said Bonvallet.
